Syria-Turkey border | Child critically injured by Turkish Jandarma in Latakia countryside

Latakia province: SOHR activists have documented the injury of a child under the age of 18 after being shot by “Turkish Jandarma.”

The child is from Al-Janudiyah town in Jisr Al-Shughour countryside, in the western countryside of Idlib.

According to SOHR sources, the Turkish border guards, “Jandarma,” who were stationed opposite Al-Yimdiah village in Latakia countryside, targeted the child while trying to enter Turkish territory from Al-Yamdia town, seriously injuring him.

The child was transferred to Idlib hospital and then transferred to Turkey for treatment owing to his critical injury.

On September 9, SOHR activists reported that a civilian from Deir Ezzor was shot dead by Turkish shooters after he stopped on the road to fix his car in the vicinity of Al-Khalediyah village in Ain Eissa district on the International M4 road in northern Al-Raqqa countryside.
