By Iranian leadership | Kurdish forces release members of gunmen of Nobl and Al-Zahraa

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Kurdish forces have released prisoners, who are affiliated to the Lebanese Hezblollah, from Nobl and Al-Zahraa, where they were arrested yesterday by Iranian leadership.

Moreover, gunmen of Al-Nobl and Al-Zahraa released several people of Kurdish forces, who were arrested during the security chaos on the smuggling road near forests located in Al-Ziyara and Akiba villages northern of Aleppo.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that clashes with machineguns erupted between Kurdish forces and members of “Nebl and Al-Zahraa” militia which is backed by the Lebanese Hezbollah in northern Aleppo, where groups of this militia are stationed at two military posts near the forests between Al-Ziyyarah and Oqaybah villages. Meanwhile, Kurdish forces managed to arrest 11 militiamen of the Hezbollah-backed group, taking them to security centres.

According to SOHR sources, the clashes followed an attempt by “Nebl and Al-Zahraa” militiamen to help several people to sneak into Afrin, as well as the arrest of a Kurdish civilian. Kurdish forces stormed the two military posts and arrested the 11 militiamen who were erecting barriers in forest areas.

It is worth noting that many smuggling operation of people from and to Afrin take place in coordination between the “National Army” and “Nebl and Al-Zahraa” militiamen.
