Affected by the wounds | Regime soldier dies following explosion of military vehicle

Daraa province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a regime officer with the rank of lieutenant, affected by the wounds he sustained earlier today, due to the explosion of a military vehicle of the military security branch in Al-Mazirib town in western Daraa countryside.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported the explosion of an IED by a military vehicle of Military Security Branch in Al-Muzayrib town in the western countryside of Daraa, leaving four soldiers injured and causing material damage to the targeted vehicle.

The hit soldiers were taken to the hospital.

Since early 2022, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 376, which left 317 people dead; and they are as follows:

• 151 civilians, including four women and five children.

• 130 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.

• 21 former fighters who did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.

• Four ex-ISIS members.

• Seven unidentified people.

• Four militiamen of the Russian-backed 5th Corps.
