Counterattack | Turkish forces shell positions of Kurdish and regime forces north of Aleppo

Aleppo province: Several rockets fired from positions of Kurdish and regime forces near the Turkish base on the outskirts of Merimin village in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo in the northern countryside of Aleppo. However, no casualties have been reported.

Turkish forces responded by bombarding the positions of Kurdish and regime forces in Shirawa district of Afrin countryside. No further details about the damage and the number of casualties have been reported so far.

 

On September 10, SOHR activists reported that a Turkish died of an injury he sustained on August 23, in a rocket attack on a Turkish armoured vehicle near a military base in Marimin village in Afrin countryside in “Olive Branch” area.
