Found dead with gunshot wounds on his body | Uncertainty surrounds circumstances of death of a man in Latakia city

Latakia province: SOHR sources in regime-controlled areas have reported that a man known by his initials as G. S. was found dead with gunshot wounds on his body in front of his house in Shuraytah project, near Latakia city centre. Uncertainty has surrounded the circumstances of the death of the man, while it is not known yet if he killed himself or he was murdered.

 

On August 21, SOHR activists documented the death of an 18-year-old girl who threw herself from the fifth floor in the regime-controlled neighbourhood of Al-Ashrafiyah, near the specialized hospital in Aleppo city, due to “family disputes and psychological pressure.”

 

While on August 19, SOHR activists documented the death of a man in his fifties who jumped off Al-Rastan bridge in north Homs countryside which is under the control of the Syrian regime. The body of the man was transported to the Red Crescent Centre in Al-Rastan area. However, the reasons behind his suicide remained unknown.
