Fierce clashes | Regime forces and SDF trade fire on Euphrates banks east of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists in Deir Ezzor countryside have reported that clashes with medium and heavy machineguns broke out at midnight yesterday, between SDF members stationed in Al-Sabha village on the east bank of the Euphrates river and regime forces on the other bank of Euphrates river. However, no human casualties have yet been reported.

On September 7, SOHR activists documented the injury of a young man, who is accused of “smuggling drugs from SDF-held areas to regime areas”, where he was shot by members of an SDF patrol, while they were raiding a river crossing linking between Al-Janinah and Al-Baghiliya areas in western Deir Ezzor countryside in regime-held areas.
