In retaliation for Al-Hawl residents | ISIS members attack SDF military vehicle in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that gunmen believed to be ISIS members on motorbikes attacked an SDF military armoured vehicle at Al-Khorafy road near Al-Jazera checkpoint.

The attackers fired medium and light machineguns at the vehicle, damaging it, while clashes erupted between SDF and ISIS members, causing the damage of the motorbikes, before ISIS members fled towards an unknown destination.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of an SDF member in an attack by unidentified gunmen, believed to be ISIS members, on a checkpoint in Abriha village eastern of Deir Ezzor.
The assassinations escalated in SDF-held areas, coinciding with the launch of the “Humanitarian and Security” operation targeting ISIS members in Al-Hawl camp.
