Ras Al-Ain (Sere Kaniye) | Tens of residents participate in funeral of the Iraqi child, “Yassin Al-Mahmoud”

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources in Ras Al-Ain city (Sere Kaniye) in the northern countryside have reported that tens of residents participated in the funeral of the Iraqi child, “Yassin Al-Mahmoud” who was found dead after having been raped by a man called “Mustafa Salama, who was a member of Suqour Al-Shamal faction which operates under the banner of the Turkish-backed “National Army.”

 

Observatory sources have also reported that a large number of tribal dignitaries and member of the Turkish-backed “National Army” also participated in the funeral. It is worth noting that the death of the man who raped and killed the little child was confirmed yesterday, as other Turkish-backed militiamen shot him when he was transported from the military police branch to the civil police branch in Ras Al-Ain city.

 

Yesterday, Observatory activists documented the death of the rapist and the killer of the Iraqi child “Yassin Al-Mahmoud” in Ras Al-Ain city, while he was being moved from the Military Police branch to the Civil Police in the city, where he was field-executed after the police car was stopped by members of Turkish-backed factions.

 

Earlier that day, SOHR activists reported seeing a mass demonstration in Ras Al-Ain “Sere Kanye” in northern Al-Hasakah countryside, demanding the arrest and accountability of the rapist and murderer of Iraqi child “Yassin Al-Mahmoud,” who was found murdered and sexually and physically assaulted by Mustafa Salama, a member of Turkish-backed Souqour Al-Shamal faction which is operating under the banner of National Army backed by Turkey.

 

Syrian Observatory activists reported that dozens of demonstrators gathered at the police gate of Ras Al-Ain “Sere Kanye” and lifted placards with slogans demanding that the perpetrator be brought to justice and fair retribution.
