Military escalation | Missiles hit vicinity of Turkish base in A’zaz while Turkish forces shell village in Aleppo
Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that four missiles hit the outskirts of A’zaz city and the vicinity of the Turkish base near the National Hospital in the city in eastern Aleppo countryside within “Euphrates Shield” areas, fired from areas held by Kurdish and regime forces in northern Aleppo countryside. However, no casualties have been reported yet.
Turkish forces reacted by shelling the vicinity of Abin village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside with several artillery shells and missiles. However, no casualties have been reported yet.
On September 15, SOHR activists monitored artillery shelling by Turkish forces and their proxy factions on the vicinity of Al-Shahba dam and Tel Madiq villages which are under the control of Kurdish and regime forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo, after calm on the frontlines of Aleppo countryside for nearly 48 hours.
Several Turkish artillery shells hit the above-mentioned areas, causing material damage only.
