After regime Intelligence officer was stabbed | Security services launch arrest campaign against National Defence members in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have documented the injury of a National Defence member by gunshots fired by members of a patrol of the “State Security” Intelligence in Deir Ezzor city, and was then arrested after suffering severe wounds, amid security tension in the city.

On the same context, National Defence members stabbed an officer of “State Security” Intelligence in the chest, where Security Forces and Military Police launched a raiding and arresting campaign in Al-Teb and Al-Dahiyah neighbourhoods in Deir Ezzor arresting some young men who had connection with the injured member of the National Defence.

It is worth noting that the regime’s Military Security Branch arrested the mother of the injured member in August. However, her fate remains unknown.

On September 13, SOHR activists documented the injury of a member of the State Security, due to clashes between members of the regime-backed National Defence on one hand, and members of the State Security on the other hand in Al-Joura neighbourhood in Deir Ezzor city.
