Daily death toll | 15 persons killed on September 16 across Syria

Further details of fatalities, documented by SOHR, can be summarised as follows:

 

  • The father of a former member of local factions in Daraa and ex-commander of “Liwaa Al-Mu’tazz Billah” faction was found dead with marks of hits with a sharp toll on his head in his house in Ataman town to the north of Daraa city.

 

  • A woman in her thirties was found dead and dumped near Al-Haythamiyah village on the road between Homs and Tartus. It is worth noting that there were marks of nine stabs from a knife on the body of the woman.

 

  • A man was killed in an armed fight between two families in Tel Sha’eer village in east Aleppo countryside, which is under the control of “Euphrates Shield” operations room.

 

  • A militiaman of the “National Army” was killed in clashes between “National Army” factions and SDF-backed military formations on the frontlines of Al-Ghandourah in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

 

  • Five combatants: two members of the “cadres” and three members of the SDF-backed military police, were killed in a Turkish drone attack on a vehicle and a motorcycle near the 93rd Brigade in Ain Issa district in north Al-Raqqah countryside.

 

  • An SDF fighter was shot dead by unknown gunmen believed to be ISIS members on the road to Al-Matiri village in eastern Deir Ezzor.

 

  • Five Iranian-backed non-Syrian militiamen were killed in an armed attack by ISIS on military posts in Palmyra desert in the eastern countryside of Homs.
