Humanitarian aid | UN convoy enters Idlib via ِAl-Tarnabeh crossing amid aerial and ground bombardment
Idlib province: SOHR activists have reported seeing the entry of United Nations aid convoy of 16 trucks via Al-Tarnabeh-Saraqib crossing between areas controlled by Syrian regime forces and their proxy militias, and areas held by Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham and their proxy factions in Idlib eastern countryside.
Syrian Observatory activists have reported that the convoy entered Syria amid intensive flight by Russian fighter jets over the area and the Russian airstrikes that hit the outskirts of Hafsarja and Al-Sheikh Yusuf towns in western Idlib countryside.
It is worth noting that this is the seventh UN convoy to enter Syria in 2022 and the third UN aid convoy to enter Syria, following a Security Council decision to extend the introduction of cross-border aid.
On August 4, SOHR activists reported the entry of a new UN aid convoy of 14 food trucks, coming from areas controlled by regime forces via Al-Tarnabeh crossing in Idlib countryside into warehouses in northern Idlib countryside.
