Tit-for-tat shelling | Rockets hit Turkish-held areas north of Aleppo, while Turkish shells struck Tel Rifaat vicinity

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that five rockets fired from areas controlled by Kurdish and regime forces in northern Aleppo countryside hit areas held by Turkish-backed factions on Marea-Kaljbarin road and the vicinity of Sanadaf camp in northern countryside of Aleppo.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces responded by shelling the perimeter of Tel Rifaat and Al-Sheikh Issa village in northern Aleppo countryside.

On Friday evening, SOHR activists reported that four rockets hit the outskirts of A’zaz city and the vicinity of the Turkish base near the National Hospital in the city in eastern Aleppo countryside within “Euphrates Shield” areas, fired from areas held by Kurdish and regime forces in northern Aleppo countryside.

Turkish forces reacted by shelling the vicinity of Abin village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside with several artillery shells and missiles. However, no casualties were reported.
