“No honour crime” | Civilian kills his sister for leaving her husband’s house in Homs countryside

Homs province: SOHR activists have reported that security authorities in Homs province arrested the murderer of a girl, hours after they found her body at the junction of Al-Haythamiyah village.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the murderer “M.K.” is the victim’s brother and confessed to his crime, and killed her because she left her husband’s house.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a woman in her thirties was found dead and dumped near Al-Haythamiyah village on the road between Homs and Tartus. It is worth noting that there were marks of nine stabs from a knife on the body of the woman who was from Samikah village in Talkalakh countryside to the west of Homs city near the Syria-Lebanon border. However, the identities of the murderers and motives behind this incident remained unknown.
