Military escalation | Factions shell regime positions in Latakia countryside, while regime forces bombard areas in Jabal Al-Zawiyah and western Aleppo countryside

SOHR activists have reported a rocket fire by “AlFath Al-Mubin” operation room factions on regime forces positions on Talat Al-Borkan frontline and Khyam Al-Borkan in northern Latakia countryside in response to yesterday’s aerial and ground bombardment

Meanwhile, regime forces bombarded areas in the vicinity of Makalbeis village in western countryside of Aleppo, and other areas in Fulayfel, Bayannin and Al-Fatirah in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Yesterday, SOHR activists monitored heavy and violent shelling by regime forces with over 60 artillery shells and rockets, targeting the villages of Al-Wasatah, Al-Qasr, the vicinity of Kafr Nuran and the eastern outskirts of Al-Atareb city, west of Aleppo.

Moreover, nearly 20 shells hit areas in Fulayfel, Bayannin and the outskirts of Al-Fatirah in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties have been reported so far.
