Following dispute over possession of land plot | Civilian shot dead and tribal infighting erupts in western Al-Raqqah

SOHR sources have reported that unknown gunmen in a van shot a civilian from Al-Tabaqah city in west Al-Raqqah countryside dead, while he was leaving a mosque in the SDF-controlled village of Aida near Al-Tabaqah city. The attack follows a dispute between the victim and others over the possession of a plot of land.

In the same context, an infighting erupted between Al-Nasser and Al-Bojaber tribes in Al-Tabaqah city, but no casualties have been reported so far. Meanwhile, a state of tension is growing in the city.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported clashes with light weapons between two families of Al-She’aytat tribe in the market of the SDF-controlled town of Gharanij, east of Deir Ezzor. The clashes left one person injured, and he was taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, the SDF General Security Forces interfered to break up the infighting.
