Condemning Turkish military escalation | Residents stage demonstration in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani)

Aleppo province: Syrian Observatory activists have reported seeing a mass demonstration in Ain al-Arab (Kobani) in eastern Aleppo countryside, denouncing the ongoing Turkish military escalation.

Demonstrators have raised party flags, and banners calling on Turkish forces to stop the ground and aerial bombardments.

This comes in light of the ongoing Turkish military escalation through ground and aerial bombardments that targeted areas controlled by Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that Turkish warplanes executed several airstrikes on positions of the regime forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces in Qarmug area and other areas in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) countryside, east of Aleppo.

These airstrikes left a number of casualties among regime forces, while SOHR activists confirmed that three regime soldiers were killed by Turkish airstrikes.

The death toll is believed to rise amid reports by SOHR activists that other people were killed, and some others are seriously injured.

It is worth noting that regime forces had bombarded areas in Turkish territory before this aerial bombardment that was executed by Turkish forces.
