SOHR: Three killed in Türkiye attacks on northern Syria

Turkish military attack in Kobane in northern Syria left at least three Syrian soldiers killed and dozen wounded, the Britain-based war monitor reported.

The raids near the Kurdish-held border town of Kobane targeted positions of the Syrian army and the Kurdish allied forces of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in a military outpost, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported.

According to the monitor, three casualties are from Syrian army forces.

Several other army forces were wounded, some in critical condition.

Türkiye army caused Syrian forces to cross-border shelling from near Kobane against Turkish forces.

The Türkiye defense ministry on Sunday said a Turkish military post near the Syrian border was targetted by rockets.
