For vendetta | Young man dies in armed tribal clashes in Al-Hasakah city

SOHR activists have documented the death of a young man with gunshots, due to the eruption of armed clashes between cousins of “Al-Hasson” tribe in Al-Ghazl neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah city within SDF-held areas, due to a tribal vendetta, amid arrival of vehicles loaded with weapons to the site of clashes.

It is worth noting that the area is witnessing tension.

On September 18, SOHR sources reported that unknown gunmen in a van shot a civilian from Al-Tabaqah city in west Al-Raqqah countryside dead, while he was leaving a mosque in the SDF-controlled village of Aida near Al-Tabaqah city. The attack followed a dispute between the victim and others over the possession of a plot of land.

In the same context, infighting erupted between Al-Nasser and Al-Bojaber tribes in Al-Tabaqah city, but no casualties were reported. Meanwhile, a state of tension was growing in the city.
