Due to poor living conditions | Displaced civilian shoots himself in Afrin countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that a civilian displaced from Qobtan Al-Jabal in western Aleppo countryside in Basofan village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside north western of Aleppo, due to the poor living conditions and accumulation of debts, where he suicided by shooting himself with a gun, resulting in his severe injury and was transported to the Turkish hospital to receive proper medication, and he died affected by his injury.

This comes in light of the extreme poverty of residents, and lack of job opportunities.

During August, SOHR sources reported that a civilian from Kokan village in Ma’batli district killed himself on August 19, after a long battle with cancer. While on August 20, another civilian hanged himself to death for unknown reasons in Afrin city.
