Security chaos in SDF-held areas | Elderly man shot dead by unidentified thieves in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a 71-year-old elderly man from Amuda town in Al-Hasakah countryside, and the injury of others when they were targeted by gunmen on a motorcycle near SDF-held-Safya village in the vicinity of Al-Hasakah city. The crime is committed out of theft. The gunmen fled to an unknown destination, and their identity remains unknown.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a young man with gunshots, due to the eruption of armed clashes between cousins of “Al-Hasson” tribe in Al-Ghazl neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah city within SDF-held areas, due to a tribal vendetta, amid the arrival of vehicles loaded with weapons to the site of clashes.
