Extrajudicial killing | Jayish Al-Islam illegally executes criminal in Al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo countryside

Aleppo province: On Thursday morning, Jayish Al-Islam faction executed a member of their own faction by firing squad in the faction headquarters deployed in Al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, hours after military police handed the killer over to Jayish Al-Islam faction, without referring him to the judiciary.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a member of “Jayish Al-Islam” faction from Eastern Ghouta after being shot in the head by a gunman from Eastern Ghouta, following a dispute over a sum of money.

According to SOHR activists, the gunman lured Jayish Al-Islam member to a poultry farm he owned in Al-Bab city, in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

A dispute and verbal fighting erupted between the two men in the poultry farm over money. The gunman opened fire from a war pistol at the militiaman.

The gunman put the body in the boot of the deceased man’s car, drove the car into Al-Bab city centre and parked the car in a market in Al-Bab city.

After searching for the killer, military police in Al-Bab city managed to arrest the killer.

It is worthy noting that the family of the dead militiaman demanded that the military police punish the murderer and transfer him to the courts for fair punishment.

This crime came as a part of the security chaos that prevails in areas controlled by Turkish forces and their proxy factions.
