Raid campaign | Asaiysh dismantles car bomb in village in Al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that Internal Security Forces (Asayish) have raided Al-Kairouan village in Tel Hamis district, south-east of Al-Hasakah, and managed to dismantle a car bomb laden with nearly 200 kilograms of explosives.

It is worth noting that unknown persons, believed to be ISIS cells, made this car bomb in order to denote it.

On September 20, SOHR activists documented the death of an Arab ISIS commander in Al-Qayrawan village in Tel Hamis town in Al-Hasakah countryside in clashes with the Internal Security Forces (Asayish).

According to SOHR sources, a patrol of Asayish Forces attempted to stop a car on suspicion, before the commander, who was an ISIS Emir (top commander) from the Arab Peninsula, clashed with the patrol’s members who shot him dead. Also, the clashes left several members of the patrol injured.

On September 12, an explosion rocked Washokani camp, which houses displaced people, in areas controlled by Autonomous Administration in Al-Hasakah countryside, in Ras Al-Ain area (Sere Kanye), when a booby-trapped motorcycle exploded on the main street of the camp, killing at least one person and injuring three others, and causing material damage.
