Renewed bombardment | Regime forces shell positions in Aleppo and Idlib countryside
SOHR sources have reported that regime forces renewed their artillery fire on the “de-escalation zone” this morning, targeting positions in Al-Bara town in the southern countryside of Idlib and Maklabis village in the western countryside of Aleppo. However, no casualties have been reported.
Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a regime solider in mortar fire carried out by opposition factions on the 46th Regiment frontline in the western countryside of Aleppo.
Observatory activists had documented the death of a civilian and the injury of a child in mortar fire by regime forces on Kafr A’mmah town in the western countryside of Aleppo.
SOHR activists had reported artillery fire by regime forces stationed at checkpoints in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, targeting the vicinity of the villages of Al-Ankawi in north-west Hama countryside and the towns of Al-Bara and Kansafra and Al-Haloubah village in Jabal Al Zawiyah, in southern Idlib countryside.
Moreover, regime forces shelled the surrounding areas of the following seven villages in Aleppo countryside: Al-Qasr, Maklabis, Kafr Taal, Kafr Ammah, Al-Wasatah, Kafr Nouran, Tadil and the 111th Regiment.
