Daily death toll | Nine persons killed on September 24 across Syria

Further details of fatalities, documented by SOHR, can be summarised as follows:

 

  • A young man was found dead on Damascus-Daraa highway, near the bridge in Sayda town in east Daraa countryside, while uncertainty surrounded the circumstances of his death.

 

  • A man and a woman from “Al-Mashahdah” tribe in Al-Hajanah village were shot dead by members of an ISIS cell near an SDF military post at Al-Fadeen bridge in Tayyib Al-Fal village in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor for “practicing witchcraft and committing heresy.”

 

  • A regime soldier of the 6th Division was shot dead by a sniper of a faction of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” in Al-Manarah village (Tanjarah) in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama.

 

  • A regime soldier was found dead in unknown circumstances in Douma area in Rif Dimashq.

 

  • A member of “Al-Sham Corps,” which is close to the Turkish intelligence, was killed in an attack with a guided missile on a military vehicle near Kabasheen village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside.

 

  • An SDF fighter was killed in an armed attack by members of ISIS cells on a military patrol in Al-Kebar town in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor.

 

  • Two IRGC-backed militiamen were killed in an armed attack by unknown gunmen, but believed to be of ISIS cells, on a military bus carrying militiamen of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) near Arak village to the east of Palmyra city.
