Ongoing efforts to woo and lure people | Iranian Cultural Center distributes stationery supplies to students in Al- Mayadeen east of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: Syrian Observatory activists have reported that “Iranian Cultural Center,” in Al-Mayadeen city in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, has distributed school bags and stationery supplies to a number of primary school students in Al-Mayadeen’s schools.

According to SOHR activists, the bags, and stationery supplies have a phrase written on it read “it is a gift to friends of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Iranian Cultural Center has disputed the stationery supplies to children in Al-Mayadeen city, in particular, the children of Syrian members operating under the banner of Iranian-backed militias.

This comes as a part of ongoing efforts exerted by Iranian-backed militias to spread “Shiism” among the residents of Deir Ezzor.

On July 26, SOHR activists reported that “Al-Emam Al-Redha Hosayniya” in Hatlah town in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor held a course for nearly 20 children under the age of 12 under the title of “people of the cloak” (this refers, in Shia’a to prophet Muhammad and his daughter Fatima, his cousin Ali, and his two grandsons Hasan and Husayn) to introduce the grace of Shia imams, where money and gifts are distributed to students during the course and after it.

On July 10, SOHR activists reported that a new batch of children graduated from Al-Emam Al-Redha Hosayniya under the title “Procession of the Servants of Ahl Al-Bayt” after completing courses about “Ahl al-Bayt, “People of the House,” in Hatlah village in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Money and gifts were distributed to children after the completion of the “Shiisim” courses.
