Ongoing bombardment | Turkish shells kill two children and cause significant damage in Al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have documented the death of two children in Mushairefah village and the injury of eight others, including three women and two children, when Turkish forces and their proxy factions fired dozens of shells on residential neighbourhoods in Abu Rasin in Al-Hasakah countryside.

Turkish ground bombardment has also caused material damages to civilians properties in Abu Rasin villages.

Turkish shelling hit civilian homes and the workshop of cotton near the villages of Al-Asadiyah and Mushairefa in the north-western countryside of Al-Hasakah.

Moreover, an SDF member was injured in an artillery shelling by Turkish forces and their proxies stationed in “Peace Spring” area in Abo Rasen town in SDF-held area north western of Al-Hasakah.

According to reliable SOHR sources, SDF responded to the Turkish shelling by firing missiles on Um Ashba village in Ras Al-Ain countryside in northern Al-Hasakah countryside. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

Yesterday, Turkish forces and their proxy factions renewed their ground bombardment on SDF-held areas.

SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies in “Peace Spring” areas fired artillery shells, targeting the villages of Al-Dardar and Al-Sheikh Ali in areas controlled by SDF and regime forces, in the countryside of Tel Tamar, north-west of Al-Hasakah.

On September 17, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies stationed in “Peace Spring” area fired artillery shells on positions in Al-Hasakah countryside, where shells hit Um Al-Khair village in Tel Tamr countryside north-western of Al-Hasakah. However, no casualties were reported

On September 16, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies in “Peace Spring” areas renewed shelling on Al-Tawela village, and fired four shells on the vicinity of Al-Dirdara and Aboush villages within areas held by SDF and regime forces in Tel Tamr countryside north-western of Al-Hasakah.
