Old vendetta | Young man shot dead in a village in eastern Homs countryside

Homs province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a young man, where he was directly shot by a person, due to an old vendetta between two families in Al-Masriyah village in Al-Qasir countryside in eastern Homs countryside.

This comes in light of the ongoing security chaos in regime-held areas.

On September 25, SOHR activists reported that nearly ten people injured, following a dispute between a group of Iranian-backed militiamen of Al-Bakara tribe and a group of people residing in Khirbet Ward village near Al-Sayyida Zainab area in southern Rif Dimashq.

According to Syrian Observatory activists, the reason for the dispute was the attempt by a member of Al-Bakara tribe from Deir Ezzor and lives in Khirbet Ward village to regains ownership of a house he had sold to a person earlier.

The dispute developed after his relatives intervened, leaving ten people injured. The wounded people were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Syrian regime security services arrested a number of those involved in the dispute.

It is worth noting that many families of Al-Bakara tribe from Deir Ezzor province live in Al-Sayyida Zainab area, one of the most important strongholds of Iranian-backed militias in Rif Dimashq.
