Ongoing bombardment | Turkish mortar shells hit village in northern Manbij countryside

Aleppo province: Turkish forces stationed at Sheikh Nasser base have fired mortar shells on Roz Maghar village which is under the control of SDF Manbij Military Council, east of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. Neither casualties nor material damage has been reported so far.

On September 24, SOHR activists documented the injury of a child by gunfire by members of the SDF-backed “Manbij Military Council,” while he was near Al-Tukhar village on frontlines between “Manbij Military Council” and factions of the Turkish-backed “National Army” stationed in Jarabulus city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

On September 21, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies stationed in “Al-Shaikh Nasser” base fired artillery shells on areas where the SDF-backed Military Manbij Council Forces are deployed, targeting Al-Asaliyah, Jab Al-Arous and Bozkhij villages in Manbij countryside, east of Aleppo. However, no casualties were reported.
