12 airstrikes in hours | Russian jets target positions near M4 highway in Idlib

SOHR sources have reported that Russian fighter jets have renewed their airstrikes on Idlib countryside, targeting positions in the surrounding areas of Musaybeen village to the east of Ariha city, near Aleppo-Latakia international highway (M4) in Idlib countryside with eight airstrikes. No further details have been reported yet about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the recent strikes.

 

Accordingly, the number of airstrikes executed by Russian jets on Idlib countryside since morning has increased to four.

 

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that a Russian fighter jet executed four airstrikes using vacuum missiles on the surrounding areas of Al-Ruwayha village near the frontlines between regime forces and opposition factions in the southern countryside of Idlib. This coincided with regime bombardment on the same frontline, amid frequent flights by reconnaissance drones over the area.

 

On the other hand, regime forces fired over 100 artillery shells and rockets on positions in the villages of Al-Ankawi, Qulaydeen, Al-Zaqoum, Daqmaq and Al-Hemaydiyah villages in the north-western countryside of Hama.

 

Also, Ansar Al-Turkistan faction fired several shells on regime positions in the western countryside of Hama, but no casualties have been reported.
