IED explosion | Civilian targeted in Al-Qonaitara countryside on borders with the occupied Golan

Al-Qonaitara province: SOHR activists have monitored an unsuccessful assassination of a civilian, by the explosion of an IED in his car in Ambatna village in Al-Qonaitara countryside near borders with the occupied Golan, causing only material damages.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the civilian is related to the head of the municipality in Ambatna village in Al-Qonaitara countryside.

This comes in light of the ongoing security chaos in different areas of Syria.

On September 28, a car was hit by an IED north of Ghadeer Al-Bustan town on Mazraat Al-Mahyoubi highway near the occupied Syrian Golan in Al-Quneitra countryside, leaving a woman injured. The woman was taken to hospital.
