Forcibly deported by Turkish authorities | “National Army” threatens to kill minor after arresting him

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish-backed factions within “Peace Spring” area arrested a minor from Daraa after he was forcibly deported from Turkish territory to Ras Al-Ain in Al-Hasakah countryside.According to reliable SOHR sources, the factions threatened the family of the minor of killing him if they do not pay 20,000 USDs as ransoms.

It is worth noting that “Peace Spring” area has been witnessing human smuggling, under supervision of armed Turkish-backed factions.

On September 30, reliable sources informed SOHR that members of the Turkish-backed “National Army” killed a kidnapped civilian, after having refused to pay a ransom in return for his release.

The militiamen threw the victim’s body near a soil barrier in an area between Al-Aliyah and Makaaf in western Tel Tamr in the north-west of Al-Hasakah.

On September 19, SOHR sources reported that members of “Ahrar Al-Sharqiyah” faction arrested 17 people from Al-Dirbasiyah, Amouda, the vicinity of Al-Hasakah, Tel Tamr and Qahtaniyah in Al-Hasakah countryside, while they were crossing “Peace Spring” area via smuggling to migrate to Europe.
Meanwhile, the faction contacted families of three of the arrested people demanding 8,000 USD for their release, while the fate of the remaining civilians remains unknown.
