Amid displacement of residents | Turkish forces expand ground shelling to nine villages in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have monitored a new series of ground shelling by Turkish forces and their proxies from “Peace Spring” areas on SDF-held areas, where the shells hit Al-Nuwayhat, Al-Mashirfa, Al-Asadiyah, the outskirts of Tel Amir, Al-Dirdara, Khashm, Al-Aboush, Bab Al-Khair and Khirbat Shai’r in Abo Raseen countryside and Tel Tamr north western of Al-Hasakah, amid displacement of residents to safer areas. However, no casualties have been reported.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces in “Peace Spring” area in eastern Ras Al-Ain countryside fired dozens of shells indiscriminately on the countryside of Abu Rasin and Tel Tamr north-west of Al-Hasakah from midnight yesterday until the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, SDF countered the attack by shelling areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions in “Peace Spring” area. No casualties were reported.
