Al-Hasakah | SOHR activists reveal details of failed kamikaze operation in Al-Dirbasiyah

Al-Hasakah province SOHR activists have reported that a civilian displaced from Al-Safira town in Aleppo countryside tried to execute a suicide (kamikaze) operation in SDF-held areas, however failed in executing the operation.

According to details obtained by SOHR, the civilian crossed Ras Al-Ain area within “Peace Spring” area to Saikara village southern of Al-Dirbasiyah northern of Al-Hasaah, where he moved nearly a year ago to Nabhan village in Saikara and worked in the solar energy field and repairment of motorbikes and generators in Saikara village. Accordingly, he frequented to the centres of the Internal Security Forces “Asayish” to repair faults. Moreover, he has a cousin who works is digging trenches in SDF-held areas and later fled to “Peace Spring” areas.

According to reliable SOHR sources, he collected all his depts in the area before executing the kamikaze operation and left to southern Al-Dirbasiyah countryside northern of Al-Hasakah, wearing an explosive belt to execute the kamikaze operation, while a motorbike exploded accidentally over the bridge of Qarkoya village southern of Al-Dirbasiyah city at Al-Hasakah road before reaching the planned area and died in the explosion.
