19th attack in Daraa since early October | Man shot dead after being tortured, house of member of 8th Brigade comes under attack in eastern Daraa countryside

Daraa province: The body of an unidentified young man handcuffed and legged, with signs of torture, was found on Kahil-Al-Taybeh road in eastern Daraa countryside.

Meanwhile, unidentified persons threw a grenade at the house of a member of the 8th Brigade in Maa’raba town, east of Daraa, leaving no casualties.

This comes in light of security chaos that prevails across Daraa province.

From early October till Today, SOHR has documented 19 attacks targeting civilians, regime military personnel, collaborators with the security services and “settled-status” members, and ex-combatants who struck “settlement” deals and did not join any military formations.

Since early 2022, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 423, which left 356 people dead; and they are as follows:

• 169 civilians, including four women and six children.

• 146 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.

• 25 former fighters who did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.

• Four ex-ISIS members.

• Eight unidentified people.

• Four militiamen of the Russian-backed 5th Corps.
