Turkish shelling | Public facilities and civilians’ properties severely damaged in Al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: Public installations and civilians’ properties have been severely damaged due to heavy Turkish shelling on Abu Rasin town in the north-western countryside of Al-Hasakah.

Turkish shells hit a mill feeding Abu Rasin town and its countryside with flour, the municipal building and civilian homes, which were severely damaged by the indiscriminate shelling on Abu Rasin town and its countryside.

On October 3, SOHR activists documented the injury of four civilians severely, due to Turkish shelling on Tel Al-Laban village in Al-Hasakah countryside, coinciding with artillery shelling on villages in Tel Tamr countryside and Abo Raseen countryside north western of Al-Hasakah, where the injured people were moved to the hospital to receive proper medication. Meanwhile, the random shelling is still going on.

SOHR activists had also reported that Turkish forces and their proxies within “Peace Spring” area fired heavy artillery shells on Khirbat Sha’ir, Al-Bobi, Al-Mashirfa and Dada Abdalin Abo Rasen countryside north-western of Al-Hasakah, in addition to Al-Dirdara, Aboush and Al-Kozlaih villages in Tel Tamr countryside, injuring two members of the Autonomous Defence, amid displacement of civilians towards safer areas.
