Casualties in “Euphrates Sheild” area | Exchanged shelling between SDF and Turkish forces in Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces and their proxies fired several missiles on SDF military positions in Zor Maghar eastern of Jarablus in eastern Aleppo countryside. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

According to reliable SOHR sources, SDF reacted to the source of shelling, where SDF fired a guided missile on a vehicle on Euphrates river bank on Jarablus side, causing the death of two people, with one of them being from Baza’a town in Al-Bab countryside, and the other from Al-Raqqa. Moreover, a person was severely injured, amid exchange of shelling between both of them.

On October 6, a Turkish fighter jet executed several airstrikes from Turkish airspace, targeting Al-Baghdiq, Aghbish and Kulteb villages near the frontlines between “Peace Spring” area and areas controlled by “SDF” in the countryside of Tel Abyad, north of Al-Raqqah, as well as positions in the villages of Karmug and Duran Tel Sha’ir in the eastern countryside of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani). The Turkish airstrikes left a civilian injured in Karmug village and caused material damage to civilians’ properties.
