“Olive Branch” area | Unidentified gunmen target member of Al-Sultan Murad in Afrin

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that unidentified gunmen in a “Pick Up” cad carrying a “Doshka” machinegun targeted a member of “Al-Sultan Murad” from Nahla village in Idlib countryside in “Olive Branch” area in Afrin city north western of Aleppo.

This comes in light of the ongoing security chaos in different areas held by Turkish forces and their proxies within “Olive Branch” area.

Earlier today, violent clashes with light and medium machine guns were renewed between Al-Batran and Al-Mari groups operating under the banner of Al-Hamza Division in Basouta village, Sherawa district, Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo
.
According to SOHR activists, the violent clashes were renewed after a member of “Al-Marai” group died of the injury he sustained today.
Al-Marai group waged an attack on the headquarters of Al-Batran group and managed to gain control of some checkpoints on Jabal Al-Ahlam in Basuta village, amid bringing in military reinforcements by the two groups and blocking all secondary roads to the village.
