Daily death toll | Six persons killed on October 8 across Syria

Further details of fatalities, documented by SOHR, can be summarised as follows:

 

  • A civilian, believed to be a smuggler, was killed when he was ambushed by the security forces of the regime-backed 4th Division in Jard Al-Jebnah village near the Syria-Lebanon border in north-western Rif Dimashq.

 

  • A civilian died of the wounds he sustained in gunfire by a drug dealer in Talbiseh city in the northern countryside of Homs. Accordingly, the number of fatalities of that incident rose to three.

 

  • A young man was found dead and dumped on the outskirts of his farmland in the regime-controlled town of Hufayr Al-Fuqah in northern Rif Dimashq.

 

  • A regime officer died of the wounds he sustained in earlier ground bombardment by Turkish forces and their proxy factions on regime positions in the eastern part of Kobani city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

 

  • A member of the regime-backed military security service was shot dead by unknown gunmen on the road between Al-Dahiyah neighbourhood in Al-Yadoudah town in the western countryside of Daraa.

 

  • A member of a faction of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room was killed in ground bombardment by regime forces on the western countryside of Aleppo in the “de-escalation zone.”
