“Putin-Erdogan” area | Regime forces shell areas in Idlib countryside

SOHR activists have reported mortar shelling by regime forces on the frontline of Maarat Al-Naasan, north-east of Idlib.

Regime heavy artillery shells hit areas in the villages of Al-Fatirah, Al-Bara, Harsh Bayannin and Al-Ruwayiha, in Jabal Al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, in “Putin-Erdogan” area. No further details have been reported about the number of casualties and the material damages so far.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of two people, who are a woman and a child, after the death of the woman affected by her severe wounds, when regime forces shelled a wedding hall in Al-Abizmo town in western Aleppo countryside.

In the same context, three regime soldiers were killed, including an officer, where factions shelled the frontlines of the 46th Regiment in western Aleppo countryside. Moreover, a regime’s officer and a regime soldier were killed on Idlib frontlines.

Accordingly, the number of casualties of regime forces rose to five, including two officers, near frontlines in “Putin-Erdogan” area.

On the other hand, Turkish artillery targeted the 46th Regiment with several highly explosive shells, while regime forces fired a mortar shell on Turkish military checkpoint near Al-Atarib in western Aleppo countryside, and Al-Wasata and Kafr Nouran villages.
