SOHR sources in Jasim city in the northern countryside of Daraa reported earlier this morning that gunmen of local factions in the city have launched a security campaign, searching for ISIS cells. The local factions announced, via loudspeakers, the beginning of a curfew from Friday 08:00 am to the evening. The campaign included inspection of houses in different areas in the city, while sporadic gunfire was heard in the city. The campaign aimed at arresting ISIS cells which are responsible for assassinations, as the factions described.

On September 30, SOHR sources reported that a civilian from Aleppo province was found dead and shackled with gunshot wounds at Abi Tammam roundabout in Jasim city centre in northern Daraa. The reasons and motives behind this crime, which came as a part of the escalating security chaos across Daraa province which is controlled by regime forces, remained unknown.
