Turkish artillery shelling | Two civilians injured in Tel Tamr countryside north-west of Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists documented the injury of two civilians by artillery shelling and heavy machine guns fired by Turkish forces and Turkish-backed factions on Al-Fakkah and Qobor Al-Qarajnah in Tel Tamr countryside, north-west of Al-Hasakah, yesterday evening.

Yesterday morning, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxies fired heavy artillery shells, on the positions of Kurdish forces on the frontline of Sheikh Issa in northern Aleppo. This bombardment follows an infiltration operation by Kurdish forces into Abla village in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. However, no further details were reported yet about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the recent attack.

On October 7, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies shelled positions where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed, targeting Tel Zuwayan, Shaala, Kharbasha and Tel Jijan villages in east Aleppo countryside.

Kurdish and regime forces reacted to the Turkish bombardment by shelling Abla village in Al-Bab countryside in eastern Aleppo and “Kuwait Al-Rahma” village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside in the north-west of Aleppo. However, no casualties were reported.
