Aleppo | Jaiysh Al-Islam member killed in Susyan town in Al-Bab countryside

Aleppo province: Yesterday, a member of Jaiysh Al-Islam faction was found dead with gunshot wounds in the head in the headquarters of Jaiysh Al-Islam faction in Susyan town in Al-Bab countryside, east of Aleppo. The body of a Jaiysh Al-Islam member was moved to Al-Bab Al-Kabeer hodpital.

This comes in light of the internal division among Third Corps members following striking the agreement between Third Corps and Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham.

Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch areas see a state of confusion between the factions, particularly those who reject the ceasefire agreement between HTS and Third Corps.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported an uprising against Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham in “Euphrates Shield” area, where hundreds of residents from Al-Bab, Azaz, Mare’ and Kaljibreen in Azaz countryside in the northern countryside of Aleppo staged sit-in protests, expressing their rejection of the entry of HTS military columns to “Euphrates Shield” area.

The demonstrators removed soil barriers on Kaljibreen road and set fire to rubber tyres blocking the roads in front of the HTS columns heading to “Euphrates Shield” area. This comes after calls upon the region’s residents for general mobilization against HTS.
