Arrests campaign | H-T-S continues to pursue former members of Jaiysh Al-Islam faction in Afrin

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that members of a patrol of General Security Service of Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham have arrested a former Jaiysh Al-Islam member near Jehan hospital in Afrin city centre in north-western Aleppo countryside for unknown charges.

Meanwhile, groups of Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham of “Al-Sa’ad Brigade” have deployed in Qarzihil village in Shirawa district, and seized some of the people’s homes, turning them into headquarters. These members of HT raised the banners of the Ahrar Al-Sham movement in their headquarters.

Moreover, groups of “Al-Zubair Brigade” have also deployed in Jendires district, using the banners of Al-Hamza Division and Amshat in their movements.

On October 20, SOHR activists reported that a patrol of the General Security Service of HTS arrested a civilian displaced from Jirod city in Rif Dimashq on October 15, without knowing the charges pressed against him and he was moved to Idlib province, where his fate remains unknwn.

On October 18, SOHR activists reported a General Security patrol of Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham arrested two civilians from Eastern Ghouta on Al-Villat street in Afrin city center for unknown charges. The arrestees were taken to an unknown destination.
