Arrested for ten years | Young man di-es under tort-ure in regime prisons

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a young man from Al-Sakhor neighbourhood in Aleppo under brutal torturing in regime prisons after being arrested for ten years, where the young man had gone out on protests against the regime in Al-Maydan neighbourhood in Aleppo on 2012.

Accordingly, the number of civilians who died under torture in regime prisons which has been documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights since the beginning of 2022 has risen to 87 including two dissident army officers and 38 people from Eastern Ghouta whose death certificates were delivered by regime to their families in February.
