Expanding Iran’s influence | Iranian-backed militias open bureau for tribal dignitaries in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: Iranian-backed militias opened a bureau for tribal dignitaries in municipal of Villat district of Deir Ezzor, in preparation for an expanded meeting to woo dignitaries and elders and polishing their image.

It is worth noting that Iranian-backed militias are working hard, in various ways, to expand their influence by spreading “Shiism” among civil society.

The various activities run by Iranian-backed militias are merely to serve their interests and strategic objectives throughout Syria.

On October 30, SOHR activists reported that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militias opened a new kindergarten, known as “Um Al-Banin”, in a rented house in Al-Zawiyah area in Hatla Tahtany town in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the kindergarten belongs to a person known as “Al-Haj Malek”, who is Iranian and was recently appointed in the area, where several missions were assigned to him including supervision over religious and educational centres in the region.

On October 7, SOHR activists reported that the Iranian Cultural Centre organized recreational trips to a group of students in areas held by Iranian miltiias in Deir Ezzor city, in light of their efforts to penetrate the joints of Syrian society.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the Iranian Cultural Centre organized recreational trips for students with their parents for two consecutive days, where they were taken by buses of the centre to “Karamish” garden in Huwaijat Sakr in Deir Ezzor city.

The event included recreational trips amid people chanting special Iranian chants and providing amounts of money and nutritional meals as a gesture to win the loyalty of students’ families and to spread the idea of “Shiism” in the area.

It is worth noting that the Iranian militias are working hard to strengthen their presence in Syria and to spread the idea of “Shiism” among residents, where the activities in Iranian-held areas are considered a step that serves their interests and strategic goals in all regions of Syria.
