Military reinforcements | Coalition bring in logistic supplies convoy from Iraqi Kurdistan region to north and east Syria
Al-Hasakah province: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that “International Coalition” forces have brought a new convoy from the Kurdistan region of Iraq to SDF-held areas in north-eastern Syria, via “Al-Walid border crossing.”
The convoy included trucks loaded with fuel tankers, closed boxes, logistical supplies and concrete blocks.
The military convey has headed towards “International Coalition” bases in Al-Hasakah.
On October 17, SOHR sources reported seeing a new convoy of the International Coalition crossing from Kurdistan Region of Iraq into north-east Syria region, via Al-Walid border crossing in Al-Hasakah countryside.
According to SOHR sources, over 30 oil trucks and trucks carrying closed wooden boxes and logistical supplies among the recently-arrived convoy, which is second in October, were unloaded at Coalition bases in Al-Hasakah.
This came as a part of the ongoing joint coordination between SDF and Coalition Forces which provide military and logistical support to SDF to counter the escalating activities by ISIS.
On October 7, SOHR activists monitored the entry of new military reinforcement of International Coalition Forces to SDF-held areas in northern and eastern Syria, via Al-Walid crossing on borders with Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The reinforcement comprised 50 vehicles including oil trucks and trucks carrying closed boxes in addition to military and logistic equipment, where the reinforcement headed towards the International Coalition bases in Al-Hasakah and Al-Shaddadi in south Al-Hasakah countryside.
