Inspecting areas hit by Turkish shelling | Coalition forces tour Abu Rasin district in Al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: A column of “International Coalition” forces, with armoured vehicles, escorted by a SDF vehicle, have toured Tel Tamr its countryside, Abu Rasin and its countryside in north-western countryside of Hasakah.

French and American forces have got off and inspected areas that recently came under Turkish bombardment.

This coincided with an intensive flight by “International Coalition” drones over the area.

On October 27, SOHR activists reported that five UN vehicles, three Russian military vehicles and one SDF Relations Office vehicle toured today Abu Rasin town, north-west of Al-Hasakah.

According to SOHR activists, the vehicles toured Abu Rasin town then a SDF vehicle left the area and United Nations vehicles continued their way to Al-Asadiyah village then headed to Alok water station in “Peace Spring” area in Al-Hasakah countryside, under the protection of Turkish forces.

This incident is the first of its kind since Turkey captured the area in 2019.

On October 13, SOHR activists reported that a military patrol consisting of four “jeep” vehicles of US and French forces, accompanied by a demining organisation, toured the neighbourhoods of Abu Rasin town and its countryside, which are constantly under Turkish bombardment north-west of Al-Hasakah.

According to SOHR activists, US forces entre Abu Rasin town for the first time since 2019. Regime forces and SDF are deployed in Abu Rasin town, which is only seven kilometre to Russian base.
