With its absence | H-T-S prevents entry of gas and fuels in sufficient amounts to Idlib through Al-Ghazawiyah

Idlib province: SOHR activists have reported that HTS Security Forces prevented the entry of vehicles loaded with large amounts of gas cylinders and fuels through Al-Ghazawiyah crossing in Afrin, which is controlled by “Al-Sham Legion” and HTS, while the vehicles were heading towards Idlib from northern Aleppo countryside, and the vehicles were forced to return.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the allowance of entry of gas, benzene and diesel was limited to small amounts for usage of families, while merchants are prevented from importing large amounts and offering them in Idlib markets, which suffer complete absence of domestic gas and fuels.

On October 30, SOHR activists reported that areas held by Turkish forces and their proxy factions in “Euphrates shield” and “Olive Branch” were hit by a stifling crisis as cooking gas cylinders run out of these areas because the traders stockpiled cooking gas and smuggled them into Idlib, which is under the control of Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham, to sell them at double prices.
Markets in Afrin and suburbs ran out of cooking gas for almost two days, and gas prices soar in other areas.
The price of a gas cylinder, if any, became nearly 290 Turkish lire, up from 220 Turkish lire before the fuel crisis.
