To conduct exercises | Afghani “Fatimyon” militias open “stadium” in Palmyra city

SOHR activists have reported that Afghani “Luwaa Fatimyon” militias opened a grass stadium to conduct exercises for their members, opposite to “Palmyra National Hospital”, in Palmyra city eastern of Homs.

On September 27, SOHR sources reported that Afghan “Fatimiyon” militia converted the so-called “Industrial Stadium” in Palmyra in the eastern countryside of Homs, into a weapons training centre for its members only, where the militia transported weapons and ammunition.
Syrian Observatory sources added that the second section of the stadium was converted into parking for the members and leaders of Fatimiyon militia.
The militia also opened a workshop to repair idle cars.
It is worth noting that “industrial stadium” is located near militia headquarters in Palmyra.

On September 19, SOHR sources reported that Iranian-backed Iraqi Hezbollah and Afghan Fatimiyoun’militia brought military reinforcements from Deir Ezzor to desert of eastern Homs.
The Iranian-backed militias were stationed in an area between Ark village and Ark gas field, nearly 35 kilometres to Palmyra, near Palmyra-Deir Ezzor highway.
Iraqi Hezbollah and Afghan Fatimiyoun’militia brought military reinforcements to protect the field from possible attacks by ISIS cells.
According to Syrian Observatory sources, the reinforcements comprise vehicles, equipment, soldiers and logistical and medical supplies.
